We made our trip to Indiana to see the rest of our family for Christmas. We had a great time visiting with family and eating lots of yummy food! Our first stop was to see my grandma. Olivia loves seeing Grandma Clare and and being able to run. Grandma Clare has a stuffed dog named "Sam" that we take for walks.
Four Generations
We left Grandma Clares and drove to Kentucky to see Stacey's family. We enjoyed a wonderful meal there and a great time catching up with his family. After an afternoon in Kentucky we headed back to Indiana to see Brads side of the family where we enjoyed even more great food. His dad had just recently purchased a banjo and as you can see from the picture below Olivia and Brad are trying to learn to play!
The last time Olivia and I went to Indiana his dad bought Olivia this table that she can draw on. Last time she surprised me by drawing stick figures that really looked like a face/body! This time she surprised us by drawing her name and the lines her name goes on!!!
Olivia wanted to play in snow so bad. So we finally found snow for her to go out in. She was so looking forward to making snow angels! She literally falls backwards (not gracefully) and starts moving her arms and legs to make angels.
Here is Papaw and Olivia concentrating on drawing.
Olivia spent some time teaching Papaw how to play her new game she received for Christmas.
What a great Christmas season we have had. It was fun watching Olivia's excitement. The only problem now is...she doesn't think it's time for the Christmas tree to come down! We are looking forward to what 2011 brings us!
