Time with the Murphy's

We had a great few days with the Murphy's. Stacey, Dana and the boys drove in from Sheperdsville, KY. They were here for a few days and now they are in Iowa for a few days before heading home. We had a great time catching up and sharing stories/memories. It was so fun to have our first visitors!! We all spent one day at Union Station and Crown Center.

Wednesday night my parents had The Waters', The Goering's, The Murphy's and Brad and I over for dinner. Mom and Dad fixed a great HUGE dinner. After dinner we watched some old Southern Gospels Videos and had a lot of good laughs. We are leaving tonight to drive to Iowa to meet up with the Murphy's and the Van Wyngarden's to attend The Oak Ridge Boys concert. We are looking forward to another great night with friends!

New Camera

We are so excited about our new Casio camera we bought with wedding money! We are still getting the hang of it but I think we will like it. Below you will find some pictures of our house! We spent some time yesterday with John Michael, Holly's nephew, at our pool during our day off. He is 2 and talks non-stop!!! We can't wait to see the Murphy's next week!

4th of July Weekend

We had a great weekend. It started with dinner and a Dixie Melody Boys Quartet Concert with Kevin and Renee Waters on Saturday night.

Brad and I both worked on Sunday and went to the pool. Monday we spent a lot of time relaxing and at the pool.

Yesterday we went with Mike and Adrienne up to Gladstone to Kevin and Renee's house for dinner and to the Gladstone Fireworks.

Unfortunately we still don't have a camera that works. So it will be awhile before we have pics on here. Sorry!!!

We are looking forward to the end of the month when Stacey Murphy's family will be here. Stacey was the lead for the Journeymen Quartet and a great friend to Brad. We are excited to spend some time with them and we might go with them to the Oak Ridge Boys concert in Pella, IA. If we end up doing that we will also get to see Will VanWyngarden's Family. Will sang bass for the group.

Brad and I will be taking our first major road trip together Aug 10-12. We will be driving to Indiana to see my grandma, Little A (the best man in the wedding), and all of Brad's family. It will be a fast trip and a lot of ground will be covered.
