Another Trip East

Isn't she cute??
We have arrived home safe and sound from our Indiana/Kentucky trip. We started the trip by driving to Brad's dads house. Olivia sure enjoys seeing Papaw and Betty...and their dogs!! While we were there Olivia enjoyed her ride on the pony and driving the mule again. Those are the highlights to going to Papaws house. She also enjoyed playing tea party with everyone. This tea party was all about "purple milk" and "purple tea". Olivia also got to see her great grandpa and Uncle Chad. We learned that Uncle Chad loves to color. The two of them did a lot of coloring over the few days we were there.

Here is Olivia looking over the fence at some horses out in the field

We also went to Brad's grandmas house. She had a few people over that Brad graduated with from high school. I don't think he has seen them since high school..so it was fun to see them and meet their kids. Grandma gave Olivia an early birthday gift. It's hard to believe that Olivia is going to be 3!!!
After that stop we drove down to Kentucky to visit Stacey's family. Olivia was so excited to have "kids" to play with. Two of these kids were over 6ft tall!!! Stacey's youngest boy, Mark, seems to be Olivia's "favorite". Mark and Olivia played with play-doh, blew bubbles and played ball. Brad had a great time catching up with Stacey.
We left their house and headed back to Indiana to see Anthony (Little A) and his wife. It was fun getting to know his wife better and seeing the rest of Anthony's family.

We were suppose to go see my grandma after Anthony's house but we had to cancel that because Olivia and I had colds and we can't be around my grandma. So we ended the trip a day early.

As we were driving home we received a phone call from Brad's Aunt saying that his grandma was in the hospital due to a brain aneurysm and the doctors said to call the family home. So we dropped him off in St. Loius to rent a car so he could drive back to Indy to be with his family. ***update on grandma...she is miraculously doing great. She has had surgery and improving!***

Olivia was so glad to be home. We had some pretty rough nights of sleep while we were gone...but our first night back we all slept through the night and we all slept in!!!!
