Olivia and I Are In Indiana

Olivia, my mom and I left for Indy on Thursday morning. Olivia did great on the plane. We were able to keep her awake until we got the rental car...then she was out almost for our drive to my aunt's.
Olivia waiting for our shuttle to the car
Finally got to sleep
She misses her daddy so much. She got a new purse while we have been gone...it came with makeup, keys and a phone. She has been holding the phone to her ear saying dada.
We took a suitcase full of toys...she decided to climb in

Olivia and I got up early today and drove 3 hours to see Brad's family. We spent the day in Marengo before driving back to my aunts.

Grandma and Olivia (Brad's Grandma)
Pap and Olivia (Brad's Pap)
Uncle Chad and Olivia (Brad's Brother)
Papaw Bruce (Brad's Dad)
Mamaw Bonnie (Brad's Grandma)
Mamaw Debbie (Brad's Mom)
Tomorrow all three of us will be getting up and driving to my grandma. Olivia and I will come home on Monday evening. I hope daddy is ready for us.

Our Day at the Pumpkin Patch

What a great day we had seeing pumpkins. We went to Suburban Lawn and Garden because there was a sign that said...Free Hayrides To The Pumpkin Patch....

This was the "hayride"...a golf cart
The pumpkin patch was just pumpkins spread out...the wood house...some hay and thats about it

We did have a great time. Olivia loved running around...she really loved driving the golf cart. We were lucky and got in the activities before the rain started and before the temps started dropping!

Horse Challenge

Yesterday, Olivia and I went to our first outdoor horse challenge. A friend of the family was involved in this horse challange...so we went to cheer her on! Olivia loved being outside, seeing the horses up close and dancing to the loud music.

Thanks Suzie for letting us come watch!

What A Week For Miss Olivia!

The week started off with Olivia's 15 month appointment at the doctors office. She was totally showing off in the waiting room while we waited. Then her name was called...she walked back to her room...all the nurses were saying hi to her as she walked by...she was loving it. Then the fun can to a screeching halt when we entered the exam room. She didn't want the nurse talking to her, touching her, taking her measurements or nothing. Tears are flowing. The nurse finally left the room and all was fine. The doctor then comes through the door. Olivia didn't like that either and the tears came back big time. Two shots and a blood test later we were able to leave. It was hard on her and just as hard for me trying to control her. She is very strong and I was having a hard time holding her during the shots and blood test. I've decided someone is going with me at her 18 month appointment to help hold her.
Olivia is really enjoying her gym class. Brad and I took her to open gym this week. That basically means there is no "class". All kids are welcome for free play. Brad was able to come and see what all Olivia does there. Her favorite activity at the gym is the trampoline. She has now learned to jump and land on her bottom. It is hilarious to watch.

Her week ended by.................getting her little ears pierced!! Can you believe we actually did it. I'm glad we did it before Olivia remembers what it was like. She did cry but as soon as we walked outside she was fine. Now that it's all over she really does look cute.
Before we left to get her ears pierced
She discovered you can see yourself in the kick plate of the door
After her ears were pierced she got an ice cream cone

Big Day

So we've had a very tall tree in our backyard that has been dead since before we moved in. This past week we came home to a notice on our front door from the city. It stated that we have a violation in our yard "dead tree in backyard". We have until Oct. 13 to remove it or the city will have it removed and we pay a high price. Thanks to Brad and my dad...the tree came down today!!! Thanks guys for your hard work!

Mom, Olivia and I were watching the tree come down. Once the tree was safely on the ground...the three of us went to target and to Dairy Queen to get the guys a treat. This next video says a lot about Olivia and Ice Cream!!!!
